Max's Story

I'm a handsome black-and-white gentleman with a gentle nature; I’m a goofball
with a heart full of love to share. I enjoy pets and cuddling with my sister Ruby.
My favorite spot is by the window, where I sit on my cat tree and observe the
outside world.

I'm curious about everything and love my scratching post, treats, and my toys. I’ll
roll around and be a silly clown when I know treats are coming. I especially love it
when treats are thrown for me and my sister Ruby, we run and search for them.
Both my sister and I have really good senses of humour and we love people who
interact with us. I’m very smart and even know how to high five for a treat!

My dream is to find a forever home where we can share hugs, kisses, playtime
and a window view! I love to be petted and told how handsome I am. I may be a
little shy at first, but oh boy – the goof in me comes out when I’m comfy. I want to
stay with Ruby, who I adore, so we can bring double the joy and smiles to your
life. A quiet home without other pets would be ideal for this beautiful comical
pair.

Would you like to make Max and Ruby a part of your family? Please complete our
online application found at: www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form
Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age-appropriate
vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and
microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each cat over 12 months old. Please note that fees
may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to
adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
