Max's Story

Max is a friendly cat who loves to play but also loves to snuggle. He has become a volunteer favorite with his charming personality. He will be the cat to greet you at the door when you return home or lounge on the couch with you on a lazy Sunday afternoon. He will happily play with his toys on his own or with his human friends. His pet partner checked in recently to say: I love when I go into his room and say his name and he comes running down the hall towards me - makes me so happy. He is such a sweet fellow - not a fan at all of chaos or loud noises but just wants a quiet friend. He recently had some young visitors from the reading program playing with him and reading to him and he did a great job with them. Max has some health related needs that our team will be happy to speak to you about. You can visit Max during open hours to see if he is a good fit for you.

Centre County PAWS's Adoption Policy

Cats and dogs living at the PAWS Center can be seen whenever we are open to the public. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can also see the cats living in foster homes who are at PAWS for the weekend. Dogs living in foster homes are shown at PAWS from Noon - 2 pm on Sundays. If you would like to come to PAWS when we are open to the public to meet a specific cat or dog, you are welcome to give us a call at (814) 237-8722 to check if the cat or dog is at PAWS that day.
