Max's Story

This very stoic and sweet boy has had quite the journey. He previously lived life as a barn cat, but came into our care after he began having trouble using his back end. After evaluation and lots of love, it was determined that his back left leg needed to be amputated. He is currently still healing and adjusting, but he’s already showing just how resilient and gentle he truly is. Despite everything he’s been through he remains calm, affectionate and easygoing. He’s learning to navigate life as a tripod and is doing wonderfully, taking each day in stride. Now that his barn days are behind him, he’s ready to trade hay and hard work for a cozy indoor life filled with soft beds, warm naps and quiet companionship. He’s looking for a patient and loving home that will give him the plushy indoor life he deserves and help him continue to blossom into the happy house cat he’s meant to be.

All of our animals are cared for and examined by our veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed.
