Max's Story

Max is a handsome, quiet, seven-year-old silver tabby with a pink nose, and a coat that feels like angora. Originally adopted as a kitten, he was recently returned to the foster program due to his owner's health issues. Against the organization's policy, the previous owner had Max declawed when he was just a kitten. Declawing can cause mental and behavioral issues, but fortunately, Max seems to be doing fine. He occasionally is temperamental which causes him to sometimes prefer solitude. Because he has no front claws to defend himself, he cannot ever be outside. Despite these challenges, Max is a sweet boy who enjoys being petted, brushed, and does well with other friendly and gentle cats. He loves to play, especially with wand toys, climb his cat tree, and sit by the window. With patience and time, Max could be a wonderful companion or home work buddy.

Max and his siblings were found in a local tow yard. After being cleaned up, given vet care and proper food, they were ready for adoption.

Max has been vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and combo tested negative for FIV/FeLV. His adoption fee is $75.

If you would like to meet Max, contact adoptions@pethoodga.org or text his foster, Patti, at 678-372-2494.

Ready to adopt, please fill out an application,
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PPOG/Cat
