Mavis is a sweet 6-year-old girl who is looking for a patient and understanding home. She came to us after her owner sadly passed away, and the sudden change has been very hard on her. Right now, Mavis is quite shy and unsure around most people, but we’re already starting to see little signs of her gentle personality shining through.<br/><br/>With a little time and kindness, Mavis has begun to warm up and will now allow people to get closer to her. She’s still learning that the world can feel safe again, and each day she grows a bit more confident.<br/><br/>Mavis would do best in a calm home with someone who can give her the time she needs to settle in and trust again. Once she feels safe, we believe she will blossom into a wonderful companion. If you have a quiet home and a big heart for a shy kitty, Mavis may be the perfect match for you.
