Mauve's Story

Meet Mauve! Mauve came to us as a tiny orphan kitten, who was nursed by one of our other adoptables (Black Betty). Thankfully, she had a foster sister, so she didn’t grow up with singleton syndrome. Mauve is still a dynamite gal, though! She is very playful and energetic, and can hold her own against her foster’s other cats. She loves to run around and chase toys and animals alike, and is a total maniac for wet food. She is a piglet, and will vacuum up any food left in front of her.

Mauve's favorite activity is parkour. She will dash from one end of her foster's home to the other, and jump on every bit of furniture in between. She is lightning fast and full of energy. She also LOVES playing fetch with little toy balls. Her foster has a "gun" that shoots them, and Mauve will chase them down like a cheetah. She will play for literal hours - she is an Energizer Bunny.

Mauve does well with cats, kittens, and kids. She is pretty intimidated by dogs, so would do best with a cat-friendly, smaller dog and a slow introduction.

Mauve is around 6 months old as of January 2026. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. With an approved application, her adoption fee is $106.

If you are interested in adopting this particular dog or puppy, please see our Adoption Guidelines at http://www.humanesocietyall.com/applications/ .
