Maui's Story

Hey I'm Maui, my story starts during hurricane Helene. Where my original foster mom's home was flooded. I was only a few weeks old. And I had my mom and my 2 siblings we were kept in a bathroom for a while. Since my foster mom had so many cats that was affected by the two back-to-back hurricanes. Our mom didn't like humans, so we had to part ways. She was given as a barn cat to live in a farm to eat all the mice she wanted. At the start of February 2024, my brother Hei Hei got really sick and died sadly. Now it's just me and my sister Moana, had been adopted but recently given back to our foster mom. She says it's not our fault, they didn't have time for us, and said I was too clingy/loving and my sister was too talkative. I love to be on you, next to you with you all the time. I want to sleep with you, it takes me a bit to get used to you but when I do I love you. We have to go together it's all we know.
Please visit our website www.stfrancisrescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
