Mattie May is one of seven cats surrendered when their elderly mom was fortunate enough to move from a delapidated trailer to a senior living complex where she now lives in comfort. She was only allowed to bring one of her cats with her to her new home, though. So we've been looking for the Purrfect Match for the rest of her cats. All of her cats had spent their whole lives in her care, and each have taken awhile to overcome their initial fear and shyness. Mattie May has been the shyest of all. But she is a sweet girl who deserves a special home of her very own. She's a beautiful, petite little girl with the very softest and silkiest fur. She has purrfect tuxedo markings, and you can't help but smile when she's walking away from you, showing her purrfectly matched stockings on her back legs. She has become quite talkative, and enjoys being petted. Matter of fact, she begs for pets, and loves to lay beside her foster mom and get lots of loving. We believe that given the chance at a new life in a calm and quiet environment her purrsonality will continue to blossom. She'd do best with someone who is an experienced cat person and is willing to give her the chance to open up on her own time frame. Small children, aggressive dogs, overbearing cats are not advised.
