Matilda's Story

Meet Matilda, HART's newest Meownager! 💚

Matilda is a beautiful brown ticked tabby with gorgeous slanted green eyes and a distinctive line running down the length of her nose, giving her a unique, almost wild look. ✨ But don't let her exotic good looks fool you--this girl loves affection and soaking up quality time with her people!

Matilda came to HART as a stray with a painful abscess in her mouth. While treating it, we discovered a condition affecting her gums and teeth that meant many of her teeth needed to be removed. Matilda has recovered like a champ, and you'd never know she has fewer teeth! In fact, she enjoys her food so much more now that her mouth is feeling better. 🥰

Recently, Matilda moved into HART's office to take on her new position as Meownager, so she'll be one of the first friendly faces you meet when you visit HART. Come say hello, spend a little time with her, and see if this affectionate, people-loving girl might be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾❤️
