Mater's Story
Hi
My name is Mater.
I am a 5yr old Brown Tabby.
A call was placed to Chance at Life Cat Rescue by a family member of the owner saying he was in the hospital dying and no one even knew he had a cat.
I was found in a harness & collar tied to the towel rack in the bathroom.
NOTE: ( Apparently this is how he spent his five years. He was not neutered or ever taken to a vet. He is bald in the exact pattern of the harness and moves cautiously as if he is still attached to a leash. The owner couldn't even be bothered to name him, just called him "cat".) )
Mater does not know what a cat bed or toy is.
He is very sweet but uncertain.
Wet food is is his favorite.

Mater has now received a clean bill of health, neutered, up to date with vaccinations and FIV/FeLV negative.
A quiet home would probably be best for him.
