Matcha and her siblings were found with their mom living in the drainage pipe outside of Mojo coffee in Leander. It just so happens that the wonderful Whitestone Animal Hospital is located right next door. So when the folks at Whitestone heard about this tiny family living mere feet from the very busy highway, the sprang into action. Mojo is not only a great mom, but super social. So she taught her babies that people are kind and can be trusted. They gathered up the whole family and brought them over to the vet office. <br/> <br/><br/>The veterinarian reached out to our rescue, and asked if we could help them find loving homes. We waited until the kittens were ready to be separated from mom, and then placed them in loving foster homes where they have really blossomed into absolute sweethearts. Matcha LOVES being cuddled up to her humans. She prefers to be very close to her family, opting to sleep on or next to someone for each nap. She lives in a home with 3 small dogs and a toddler. Reach out and we can set up a meet and greet, and we can even set you up to visit our neonatal nursery where you can see our teeny tiny baby kittens in their incubators so you can see what lifesaving work we are doing for the tiny orphans of Central Texas.
