Mash Tato's Story
Mash Tato/Tater is a sweet, gentle boy, just looking for someone to bond with and love deeply.

Just two years old, Tater loves sunny spots, lounging on the couch nearby, and following you from room to room just to see what you're doing. He's mostly a calm companion, though he'll happily play if toys (and possibly a treat afterward) are involved. He purrs steadily when petted, takes breakfast very seriously, and prefers to sleep right next to you at night. He can be a little hesitant in new places but, once he feels safe, he bonds closely with his person.

Tater is an excellent conversationalist and will constantly brighten your day with his cute chirps and silly mews. Whether he's reminding you it's mealtime or commenting on your daily routine, he isn’t shy about making himself heard.

Tater is in great health now, but he was in bad shape when we rescued him, including some serious issues with his jaw. We were also worried about his quirky left eye, but the vet says it's okay - just some funky light receptors. Luckily, he was happy to let us care for him and he's all fixed up now - a sweet and healthy boy! Because of his tough past, he can be a little sensitive to loud noises or sudden changes. In a calm home, though, he adjusts well. He would do best as the only pet, where he can feel secure and settle into a steady routine.

If you're interested in a kitty who will love you deeply and always keep you company, Mash Tato could be the perfect fit!
