Mary's Story

Mary came into care very sick and in need of a lot of TLC. She has made incredible improvements since then, but this sweet senior is still on her road to recovery. While we may never know everything about Mary's past, we've learned a lot about who she is now: she loves to eat, she loves to play, she loves to demand pets, and she is very happy sunbathing on a soft spot on the couch.

While we continue helping Mary feel her very best, we figure she may as well do so from the comfort of her forever home.

Mary is a little cat with a whole lot of personality and an even bigger love for her people. She wants to be your shadow, following you around to see what you're up to and happily settling in wherever you are.

Don't let her senior status fool you because Mary loves to play. She will flop over and bat toys around on her own or happily play with her human and her favourite feather toy. With no tail to help with her balance, running around isn't really Mary's style, but she has found plenty of ways to have fun.

Mary has a little trouble jumping, but that certainly doesn't stop her from exploring. She loves making her way onto the cat tree and checking out new heights. Her future home will just need some little stools or other objects along the way to help her get where she wants to go.

When she isn't following her people around or asking for attention, you can usually find Mary curled up somewhere soft or soaking up a patch of sunshine.

For such a small girl, Mary has some very big feelings about other animals. She would prefer a home where she can be the centre of attention and soak up all the love for herself.

Mary does need a dental, which will be covered by the rescue.
