Our cat/kitten is spayed / neutered, current on vaccinations, on flea prevention and have been dewormed. Our cat/kitten adoption fee is $175.00 each (cash or credit card). For Kittens: We give priority adoption placement to adopters who welcome two kittens together. Adopting two kittens not only doubles the love in your home—it also gives you priority in the adoption process! A pair of kitten that grow up together learning social skills, have constant companionship, and keeping each other happily entertained. Together they’ll soothe separation anxiety, curb play aggression, and burn off endless energy, paving the way for calm, well adjusted cats as they mature. Give two kittens a forever home and enjoy the joyful, balanced bond they’ll create for you and each other. If you can only welcome one kitten at this time, we understand and still have a precious kitten waiting for you. HOW TO MEET: This sweetheart may be at the Livonia PetSmart on Saturdays from 11-3. Come up and meet this cutie and/or other cats/kittens. The Livonia PetSmart is located at South East corner of Middlebelt and I-96 at 13150 Middlebelt Rd Livonia, MI 48150. It is located in the back of the Meijer and Costco Parking lot. Our pets are in the back-right hand side of the store past the grooming and vet clinic. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE ANIMAL YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WILL BE AT THE ADOPTION EVENT. Please email us if there is a specific kitten/cat you would like to meet to be sure they will be at the adoption event. We ask that you DO NOT contact PetSmart about our animals. They are kind enough to provide space for our adoption events, but are not involved with our rescue work. HOW TO APPLY: If you would like to apply for this cat or any of our other cats, please request an application by clicking the “START YOUR INQUIRY” button. You can also go directly to our website at www.waganimalrescue.com to fill out an application. You must be at least 21 years old to apply. IMPORTANT: An application must be filled out and approved before we will make special arrangements to meet a cat/kitten. A volunteer will review your application and contact you if your application is approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact APPROVED applicants within 5 business days of application submission (M-F), but this will depend on the number of applications received. If you do not answer all questions then your application may not be processed. WAG Animal Rescue adopts to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs, and not on a first-come, first-served basis. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. WAG Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Adoption fees provide some recuperation of costs associated with providing in-home and necessary veterinary care while the animal is in our program. The benefit of adopting from an organization that provides in-home foster care is that the animal’s behavior has been evaluated by their care providers in a natural living environment, rather than oftentimes unpleasant surroundings of a shelter. WAG foster care providers care for the animals as if they are their own, and learn to know the animal’s likes and dislikes, ability to co-exist with other animals, ability to tolerate children, and so forth. A volunteer will review your application and contact you ONLY if you are approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact approved applicants within 5 business days of application submission (M-F), but this will depend on the number of applications received. Please be patient while we processes your adoption applications. We want to be sure that the best match possible is made, so that the dog does not end up needing re-homing again. Please understand that by answering the questions does not guarantee the adoption of the pet, nor are you obligated to adopt the pet. WAG Animal Rescue adopts to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs, and not on a first-come, first-served basis. If you currently own a pet or have a history of pet ownership, you must provide a vet reference for your application to be processed. Preference is given to applications with prior animal experience and vet references. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Approved applicants are based on best fit, not first submitted. WAG RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY APPLICANT, so please understand that it is within our discretion to make those decisions on behalf of our animals. Keep in mind that we depend 100% on volunteers, most of whom have full-time jobs, so we ask for your understanding as we do the best we can in the endless effort to find homes for these deserving animals! WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER, ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE IN ONE OF OUR VOLUNTEERS HOME. HOW TO MEET: Many WAG's animals are available for viewing and adoption every Saturday from 11 am-3 pm at the Livonia PetSmart, located at Middlebelt and I-96. OUR ADOPTION EVENTS ARE VERY BUSY so please keep that in mind if you intend to come. You should expect to spend some time there if you are sincerely interested in one of our animals (since we have limited manpower and many visitors to screen).
