Marvel's Story

Meet Marvel!

Why is she named Marvel? She quickly became a shelter favorite as all who meet her fall in love!

Despite the horrors she went through, she made a full recovery and is one of the most sweet-natured kitty you could ever meet!

Marvel is a Manx cat with a very short tail and long hind legs. She has short spine syndrome but since recovering from her wounds and being brought back to good health she has no "special needs" and functions much like a "regular" cat.

Marvel is extraordinarily friendly, and is good with dogs, cats, and children! She has no physical limitations and always uses her litter box.

She gets squirmy when picked up and is not much of a lap-sitter but is always happy to receive plenty of pets & attention.

She will RUN to you at the sound of a crinkley bag with the promise of treats, and will even beg for human food!

Marvel is one of our long-time residents at the rescue and is desperately searching for her forever family.
