Marty

Marty made his way to Shadow Cats in early 2023 after living many happy years with a friend of Shadow Cats. Unfortunately a diagnosis of Diabetes combined with his temperament and his mom's work schedule made things difficult so we took him in! <br/>Marty is a very shy cat but is also very loving and when he's found his person he is very demanding of attention. He does not like loud noises or fast movement, but loves keeping you company at your desk or in a recliner on your lap. Marty is also very anxious around other cats so he would do best in a home with no other animals or just one other lazy cat who won't bother him. Marty is currently residing in our office and keeps our director company, but he could use a quieter home with someone who can spend more time with him and give him the attention he deserves. <br/><br/>**Special Needs: Marty has diabetes which requires daily glucose checks and insulin if his glucose levels are too high, as well as a prescription diet. Luckily Marty has been pretty regulated with diet alone and does not require insulin often. We also recommend Purina's calming care on his food to help his anxiety**
