Martin's Story
Martin is a one year old, shorthair gray and white tuxedo, neutered male, young cat.

Martin is tall & lean cat, who is insanely curious, active, and a total goofball!

Martin is the active adventure seeker of his litter, he has been interested in exploring, climbing and playing. He loves to run and will sprint through the house at high speeds. He does have a bad habit of being a door dasher and cannot live in a home that is situated on a busy street. A fenced yard is required so that he can be corralled easily on his escapes. We recommend a catio for Martin.

Martin does well being held, until he wants down to run and play!

Martin loves to chase after the laser pointer, and can get very obsessed with it. He can be a very busy cat and will need some daily exercise and playtime. He can be bored easily.

He can enjoy another cat’s company at naptime and like to sleep on the bed with their foster parent, or find a soft blanket on the couch. At times, he likes to sleep by himself.

Martin has lived with a cat-friendly golden retriever dog in his foster home and is at ease with this dog. Martin likes to run and play chase with the cat-friendly dog in his foster home. A slow introduction would have to be made with any new dogs even if they are friendly with cats, as new things can be intimidating.

Martin enjoyed the company of his littermates, however it takes him time and patience to warm up to new cats. He is antagonistic with other cats that he first meets; it really depends on the cat. With less reactive-laid back cats, he might become easier friends with them. He is a very particular cat. He might just tolerate other adult cats, however he could develop a deeper bond, depending on the other cat’s patience.

He would prefer a home with just adults, as small children scare him.

The adoption fee is $200 for Martin.

All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, negative for FIV&felv, and have been treated for parasites.

----

If you are interested in applying, please send us an inquiry through Petfinder.

Please do not call our hotline about these cats as email works best.

———

PAR volunteers accept applications and upon pre-approval, a PAR volunteer will facilitate the visit with the adoptable cat.

We do not do visits unless the application has been pre-approved first.
unless the application has been pre-approved first.
