Marti's Story

Marti the brown tabby lady is a whopping 18lbs of love. She’s currently in our “weight loss clinic” with Sophie the 17lb calico. If you love chunkamonks, swing on by your local Goochland Animal Shelter for a whole lot of love! These fat bottom girls make the rockin’ world go around. Marti is roughly 5 year old. She has been spayed, chipped, and fully vetted.

Goochland Animal Protection's Adoption Policy

All of the animals at our shelter leave with age appropriate vaccinations and many have been spayed/neutered. If they haven't, you will sign a contract stating that the animal you are adopting will be fixed. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested. Animal are also dewormed and receive flea/tick treatment. Adoption Fees: Dogs: $90 Cats: $75
