Marmalade's Story

Wow what a sweetheart this one is! Marmalade is so adorably loving, but she will start out very timid and will need a couple days to get to know and trust her new owner/s. Once she does she is enjoys attention and affection, though she is also quite independent. She can be so playful once she’s comfortable. It is unclear at this time if she should be an only pet, as she is so very interested in other kitties but is VERY ROUGH, to the point most only kitties can not tolerate it. She is in no way aggressive but no other cats other than her brother who was already adopted or her mother, appreciate her well rehearsed wrestling moves. At this time, Marmalade is experiencing some urinary issues, diagnosed as cystitis, which requires prescription food and intermittent meds for flare ups. For this reason we think someone with previous cat experience will be best for little miss Marmalade. Her favorite pastime is bird and squirrel watching through screened-in windows; she very much loves the breeze in her face. Marmalade's little loving coos will melt your heart. She has the "forever kitten" face and tiniest nose; there is no way not to fall in love with her!
