Marlowe's Story

Meet Marlowe, a long-haired beauty who is ready to find her forever home.
While she looks like she stepped straight out of a luxury cat food commercial, Marlowe is a humble soul who prefers a quiet life over the glitz and glamour. She is a sensitive beauty who takes a little time to trust, but the reward is well worth the wait.

Personality: Gentle, observational, and endearingly shy.
The Progress Report: After a period of "playing hard to get" (mostly from under a cozy bed), Marlowe has officially entered her curious era. She’s started peeking around corners to see what her humans are up to and is realizing that people aren't so scary after all.
Love Language: Quiet pets. Once she knows you’re a friend, she leans into head scratches and soft strokes. She isn’t a "jump in your lap" girl—not yet, anyway—but she’ll definitely let you know she appreciates the attention with a soft lean or a tiny purr.

Marlowe is looking for a patient human who understands that the best friendships aren't built in a day. Her ideal environment includes:
Peace & Quiet: A calm household without too much hustle and bustle (or loud, sudden noises).
A Grooming Routine: That magnificent floof doesn't maintain itself! She’ll need someone willing to help her with regular brushing once she’s fully comfortable.
Safe Spaces: Plenty of "hidey holes" where she can retreat if she feels overwhelmed.

Could she be the girl for you? Apply to meet her!

Estimated DOB is July 23, 2025.

---
All of our cats/kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites.
---
Adoption center is located at 7962 CLYDE PARK SW, BYRON CENTER MI 49315.
