He is also a social eater and tends to eat better with a little company, so don't be surprised if he expects you to stick around for meals.<br/><br/>Rae has been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a significant heart condition that requires regular veterinary monitoring. He is not currently on medication, but he does require a low sodium diet to help manage his condition. Because of the severity of his disease, his life expectancy may be shorter than average. He is looking for a very special family with a big heart, someone who can fully understand, accept, and cherish the time they have together, no matter how long that may be, and focus on making every day safe, loving, and meaningful for him and Marley.<br/><br/>Rae and Marley would do best in a calm, attentive home with people who don't mind a little chatter or being bossed around from time to time. They are mature boys who know what they like and aren't afraid to ask for it.
