Marley's Story

Meet Marley – A Resilient Sweetheart with a Lot of Love to Give

Marley is a 18-month-old special needs beauty who doesn’t let anything slow her down. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative—healthy, happy, and full of heart.

Before coming into rescue, Marley suffered unknown spinal trauma that left her with ataxia (a wobbly gait) and incontinence. But don’t let that scare you—Marley is easy to care for! She requires her bladder to be expressed twice a day (a simple, learnable routine), and she can be stimulated to defecate. She does not leak urine and doesn’t need diapers.

Marley’s spirit is unstoppable—she climbs, jumps, and plays like any other cat. She doesn’t know she’s different, and she doesn’t act like it. Recently, she discovered how much she LOVES snuggling in a human bed, and her affectionate, gentle nature shines brightest when she’s curled up next to someone who loves her.

We’re committed to finding Marley the perfect forever home and will transport her anywhere in the U.S. for the right adopter. She deserves someone who will dote on her, laugh at her adorable wobbles, and embrace the joy of loving a special needs cat.

Serious inquiries only: please email marie@charliesarmy.com to learn more about Marley or apply at charliesarmy.com/apply
