Marley's Story
Marley is equal parts loyal and independent. She'll come when you call but is also happy lounging around on her own and enjoying the day. She stays close to home and safety. While she seemed to prefer sleeping outdoors her first 2+ years, she now prefers sleeping indoors at night.

Marley enjoys being near her humans and will often be vocal as she greets you. She may follow if you go outside for a stroll in the yard, almost like a loyal dog. She is not really a lap cat and doesn't need much in the way of pets, at least not yet.

Marley's interesting timeline: 2023, lived her kitten year in an empty lot, and received vet care and daily feedings. 2024: transitioned to a mountain-side home but slept most of her time in the woods, but with daily feedings. Nov 2025: started sleeping in an insulated outdoor cat bed mounted next to the house, high on a fence; Dec 2025: decided she was an inside-at-night girl, for sure. Loves lounging around on soft blankets and pillows.

Given her early time on the streets, she is 'outside smart' but now appreciates being near her folks, a cozy bed and her regular meals. She has shown the ability to cohabitate with other cats in a household but is not affectionate with other cats. She may get territorial with new cats. Contact LuAnn at 501-617-7595.
