Marla's Story

Marla is about a year old and is a cat who believes in clear personal boundaries.

She isn’t a “pick me up and carry me around” kind of girl. Marla prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and would much rather interact with people on her own terms. When she feels uncomfortable she’s quick to let you know, but that’s simply her way of communicating that she needs space.

Underneath that cautious exterior, Marla is a sweet cat who enjoys attention once she feels safe. She just needs a patient home willing to let her settle in slowly and build trust at her own pace.

Marla came to us as a stray and is still learning that the world doesn’t have to move quite so fast. In the right environment — one that respects her boundaries and gives her time — she has the potential to become a loyal companion.

Marla has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, brought current on vaccines, and treated with flea/tick prevention.
