Marla's Story
Marla's story began when she was thrown out at the Lexington Village Apartments in Madison Heights. Thankfully, a kind person took her in—but with another cat already in the home, tensions rose, and Marla eventually came to Madison Heights Animal Control. Since then, she's been nothing but sweet and well-mannered with everyone she meets. Now, Marla is safe at the Catfé Lounge and patiently waiting for her forever family. She's a shy girl who thrives with an empty cardboard box, a gentle approach, and truly blossoms in a calm environment. Marla also enjoys the company of well-behaved fellow cats, making her a great fit for a peaceful multi-cat home.

Additional bio by Kasper, Roeper Middle School: Marla used to be a model, walking runways in beautiful clothes. She was very famous, due to her awesome skills. She loved interacting with fans and truly expressing herself. She was on many talk shows and even had her own Netflix documentary! Eventually, the fame and constant attention got too repetitive, so she retired and settled down in the cat cafe. Due to her not wanting any more crazy attention, she thrives in calm environments. Also, due to her wanting to put her past behind her, she is not used
to interacting with other people anymore, so she is very shy.
