Mark's Story

Meet Mark!! A playful and snuggly young man searching for his forever home!

This three year old guy LOVES to play! He doesn’t care about jingle balls very much but he especially likes crinkly toys and cat nip kickers. You will find yourself laughing at him rolling around in a pile of cat nip too!

Mark is exceptionally smart and enjoys working for his meals! He has mastered treat puzzles of all varieties! Even a dog snuffle mat! But as long as he gets his treats, (whether they be hard and crunchy or a churu) he’s gonna be a happy camper!

Mark is easily made happy with something as simple as cardboard! Whether it be a box he can sit in or a scratching pad, he just loves the stuff!

Mark will also sit on his foster mom’s spider plant- which she has found suspiciously flattened! So as long as it’s kept away from him, your plants will be safe from Mark’s booty!

After a long day of playing and exploring, Marky absolutely loves to cuddle up with his feline and human friends. He will let out a loving trill the moment you pet him. He loves the company of his foster feline friends and would thrive in a home with a friendly and active feline companion and a human who have plenty of attention to give him.

The only thing that Mark isn’t the biggest fan of is younger children. He spent a few weeks with a toddler and their random loud noises and unpredictable movements was startling to him and he spent a lot of time hiding. He did enjoy spending time with them in the periods of calm so we definitely believe he’ll do best with older, more calm children who aren’t as loud and startling to him!

Mark truly is the best of both worlds, playful and so affectionate!

If you’re looking for a furry best friend to share your home and heart, Mark might be your guy!

Mark is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is FIV/FeLV negative

*To apply for Mark (as long as you have a friendly and playful kitty at home, please visit our website to view our adoption guidelines and fill out our application at catcallsrescue.org/adopt *

Catcalls Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please thoroughly read the following information about adopting a Catcalls Rescue cat/kitten before applying. Must be 21+ to apply. Fill out the form thoroughly. The more information you provide, the better! Incomplete forms will not be considered. Please do not apply on a whim! Out of consideration for the time and energy of our volunteers, we ask that you apply only when certain that you are ready and able to adopt. We cannot hold cats/kittens for adoption. Kittens do best when they have a friend! Kittens must be adopted in pairs or to homes with existing pets. All current pets in applicants’ homes must be spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines. Cats in the home must be FIV/FeLV tested. Safety is a priority at Catcalls Rescue, so a virtual or in-person home check will be completed prior to adoption to make sure your furry friend will be safe and comfortable in their new environment! All Catcalls Rescue cats and kittens come with health records and are dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, and microchipped. Please note that due to a high volume of applications, you may not receive a response. We will reach out to applicants that are best suited for each feline within one week of receiving their application. **Emails asking us if we have received apps only slows up the process for everyone. We can't respond to those any faster than we can respond to a good application! Please keep that in mind! If you are the best fit for our kitties, you will absolutely hear from us! Thank you!**
