Marilyn's Story

Marilyn says If you can't handle her at her worst, then you sure as heck don't deserve her at her best.

Poor Marilyn was rescued from a hoarding situation in Woodbridge. She had a rough start in life, living in squalor and fighting for food. When she came to us she was shut down and suffering from mites. After treatment she looks a lot better and has regained some personality, but it may take a little more time before she trusts humans again.

Marilyn is a beautiful black and white tuxedo cat with a beauty mark on her face, hence the name. She's not quite long haired but she's got a bit of extra fluff on her tail. She is pretty shy and doesn't know what to make of humans at the moment but we hope with some patience and TLC she will come around. If you have experience working with cats that need love, please consider giving Marilyn another chance.

Marilyn is up to date on vaccinations, tests negative for FIV and FELV, and has been spayed and microchipped. If you are a superstar and want to give this poor girl another chance apply at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=28
