Marigold's Story

Marigold has officially retired from motherhood, and she is ready for her next chapter.

She spent her whole life outdoors before being trapped with her most recent litter. After being spayed on 12/23, she stayed with her kittens until they were old enough to be fully vetted and adopted. Now it’s her turn.

Marigold is fully acclimated to home life. She understands litter boxes, enjoys a predictable routine, and absolutely melts for brushing. If you want to win her heart, bring a soft brush and move slowly. She leans into it and relaxes in a way that tells you she’s never had that kind of care before.

That said, she is still a bit standoffish with people. Quick movements startle her. She doesn’t seek out constant affection. She’s what I’d call a solid “2.5-3” on our social scale (0 being a complete lap cat, 5 being completely feral) — friendly enough to accept pets and purr, but still cautious and independent.

Because of her background, Marigold is being considered for a barn or shop cat placement. She has excellent instincts, is used to outdoor life, and would likely thrive in a safe, structured working environment with shelter, food, and patient caretakers. If you’ve been thinking about adding a barn cat to your property, now is the time to reach out.

She is also open to a quiet home placement with someone patient who understands that trust builds slowly.

Marigold is fully vetted, spayed, and ready for the right fit.

If you are interested in adopting or providing a barn placement, please fill out the no-obligation application here:
https://tabbystinytabbies.org/adoption-application

Her adoption fee is $125.

If you’d like to support the work we do, we have donation links and wishlists available:
https://tabbystinytabbies.org/donate-to-rescue

Tabby’s Tiny Tabbies's Adoption Policy
Adoption Process for Tabby’s Tiny Tabbies 1. Application Submission Prospective adopters begin by completing a detailed adoption application. This helps us learn about your home, lifestyle, and experience with pets to ensure the best match for both you and the kitten. 2. Application Review Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed to assess your suitability for adoption. If there are any questions or clarifications needed, we’ll reach out to you directly. 3. Interview/Follow-Up A brief conversation may be scheduled to discuss your application further, answer your questions, and provide more details about the kitten you’re interested in. 4. Meeting the Kitten(s) Approved applicants are invited to meet the kitten(s) in person. This allows you to interact with the kitten to see if it’s the right fit for your home and family. 5. Adoption Contract & Fee If it’s a match, you’ll complete an adoption contract outlining the responsibilities of pet ownership and pay the adoption fee, which helps cover the costs of veterinary care, food, and other expenses. 6. Home Preparation & Transition Before bringing the kitten home, we’ll provide guidance on preparing your home for their arrival, including tips for kitten-proofing, introducing them to other pets, and helping them settle in. 7. Follow-Up Support After adoption, we remain available for questions or support as you and your new companion adjust to life together. If unforeseen circumstances arise, we require the kitten to be returned to us for rehoming. This process ensures that every kitten finds a safe, loving, and well-prepared forever home while giving adopters confidence in their new furry family member.
