She has a loud and ready purr and is happy to be picked up and snuggled once she feels comfortable. She's a very gentle and dainty cat who seems grateful to have been rescued and is now looking for her forever home where she can continue to thrive.

Marie is still learning to trust people again, so she would probably do best in a quiet home without young children or other pets.

You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved. Please ask questions if you're interested in any of our cats.

Laurel Cats's Adoption Policy
Since Laurel Cats is primarily a spay and neuter group rather than a rescue with a shelter, the cats that we have for adoption are living at the homes of our volunteers. Please contact us and we will gladly put you in touch with the volunteers caring for these cats. Finding volunteer foster space is challenging, and once a cat or kitten is ready for adoption we are naturally keen to free up the space in order to help more cats and kittens in need. We therefore ask that you only apply to adopt one of our cats or kittens if you are in a position to take them immediately, subject to a home check.
