Marie's Story

Marie was found with her mama and brothers at a riding stable. Her mama, Duchess, is such a sweet girl and was doing an amazing job raising these babies but now with a little help of food and a warm bed they are all truly thriving. Marie has the most precious polka dots running down her back right now. We would like little Marie to be adopted with her brother Berlioz so that they have lifelong companionship and a forever playmate.

Application This is how we get to know a bit about you, the potential adopter. Once we receive the application we can schedule a meet-n-greet with you and a Little Lotus Rescue resident who is looking for a home. Meet-n-Greet/Home Visit Our home visits and meet-n-greets are a great way for everyone to ensure that the new home and new pet are a great match for each other. We really want to make ensure that both the pet and new family members will be happy in their lives together. Little Lotus Rescue wants to make sure that their graduates are happy and healthy forever, and this is most easily done with a contract.

We facilitate intake of animals on euthanasia lists at high kill shelters and some owner surrenders. We attain the necessary medical care needed for malnourishment, illness and injury.
