Marie's Story

Marie had a brutal start to her life. First, her previous owners ignorantly declawed her, opening her up to a lifetime of discomfort. Then they decided they didn't want her any longer without any reason given, and tried to get her euthanized. The shelter saw what a sweet and healthy cat she was, and Marie was rescued and put on the path to find her real home. Marie likes other cats and loves to cuddle and be brushed. She's looking for a family that understands she might have some sensitivity in her front paws and a little difficulty getting around the way a cat with all their claws would, but that none of what happened to her was her fault. Marie deserves all the love she has been denied so far.
