Maria's Story
Maria, who’s between one and two years of age, was rescued while attempting to catch a different tuxedo cat, which was a good thing since she soon delivered three kittens. When her three babies were a couple weeks old, Maria was introduced to two orphaned kittens, which she accepted right away, making her litter jump to five hungry mouths to feed.

Witnessing how loving she was to her babies, we soon realized she wanted to become an indoor cat (which she probably was already). She is very loving. She likes to butt heads when I come into her room. She loves to be brushed and is a maniac when it comes to any toy that has feathers. She’s gentle and affectionate and would love to have a human to treat her like the princess she believes to be.

All five of her kittens have found loving homes so now it’s Maria’s turn!

Maria is FELV/FIV negative.

Apply online at cnycatcoalition.org/adoption-application (say you saw the cat on Petfinder)

Your donation of $120 will contribute to the cost of veterinary treatments the cat has received, such as spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, testing, microchipping, deworming, and flea and ear mite treatments.

Adoption includes a free lifetime microchip registration!
