Margot's Story

Margot is a sweet, affectionate 3-year-old girl who has been through more than her share of uncertainty. Over 2 years ago on a cold, snowy day, she ran up to a kind stranger at a wildlife access area- as if she knew exactly who to ask for help. The person rescued her and Margot found a home in 2024. Now she’s looking for a new chapter with someone who will give her a quieter home that better suits her needs.

Margot is shy at first, but once she trusts you, she is wonderfully affectionate. She loves curling up in a comfortable lap, being petted, and spending peaceful time with her favorite people. She’s the kind of cat who really bonds with her humans and treasures one-on-one attention.

Margot would do best in a calm, predictable home without small children, dogs, or other cats. Give her a little time to feel safe, and she’ll show you just how loving she can be.

Margot is up to date on vaccinations and routine veterinary care. All she needs now is a lap to call her own. Who knows- maybe her playful, silly side will emerge when she's totally relaxed.
