Margo's Story

This sweetheart is Margo. Margo came to GGOH back in mid-2014 with her sister, Lola. Margo and Lola came from a situation best described as a "garbage home" - they were living outside in horrible conditions, surviving on nothing but dirty rain water and rotting food scraps and the occasional natural food source. We were so happy for these girls when they had the opportunity to be adopted together. Unfortunately, the adopters passed away within a few months of each other and Margo and Lola once again were back with us.

Margo is a friendly and affectionate cat that loves attention and is happiest just lounging and being in your presence. She does well with other cats but prefers the company of a few over many. She would thrive in a home with a quieter couple but would do okay with children as well (we'd recommend children over the age of 5). She's been around dogs and doesn't seem to mind them.

While Margo and Lola have been together their entire lives, they can be split and would do just fine without the other. When they first returned to us we had them housed in the same room but noted that they rarely would spend time together - they each like their own space. We've recently moved Lola into another room and she is doing just fine without Margo, and Margo without her. It certainly would be great to see them adopted together again, but it's not a deal-breaker.

Margo's DOB is approx. 11/14/2013.

If you'd like to meet Margo, please go to our website to review our adoption process and requirements and to schedule an on-site visit. www.ggohinc.com
