Margo's Story
Margo is extremely shy, but she is starting to show a little bit of her true personality. With regular engagement and a lot of time and patience this shy girl has the potential to be a very sweet and loving kitty. Just look at those beautiful eyes, she has love in her and just needs the right family to help her find it!

She is playful and enjoys hanging out with her kitty roommates! She has the loudest and deepest purrrrrrrr! Just give her some head and neck scratches and you'll get her motor running! She is still learning to trust, so it may take her some time to adjust to a new home, but she is determined to be loved!

Margo is marked as "special needs" because she is positive for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This does NOT impact her adoptability, as you can see she is a beautiful, healthy girl! She should be an only cat or in a home with other FIV-positive kitties.

There is a lot of information on the internet about FIV, but not all of it is accurate or up to date. To learn more, we recommend starting with the Best Friends Animal Society FIV Fact Sheet: https://bestfriends.org/pet-care-resources/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqs

If Margo is the right kitty for you, please contact the Animal Refuge Center at 270-877-6064 or animal_refugectr@hotmail.com and we can answer any questions you have about her or FIV. Or, fill out an adoption application on our website animalrefugecenter.org.
