Margie's Story

Margie was brought to her foster home by a Town Cats volunteer from the home of a woman who had too many cats and asked Town Cats for help because animal control was going to remove the cats and they would be euthanized.

Town cats did step in and took in as many as possible and Margie and her kittens were settled into a foster home.

Her kittens Shawnee and Snowee are old enough now and hoping to find loving homes for themselves soon. Margie is a beautiful Tabby/Siamese mix young adult.

She is litter box trained and likes to use her scratching post. She is a shy girl and was not given a lot of attention in her last home. She still will hide sometimes from her foster mom and will let herself be petted but she has trust issues and needs someone who can give her one on one attention to help her feel safe and secure.

She has not been given the opportunity to bond with anyone and doesn't know the rewards of being loved and trusting herself to love someone in return. Margie gets along well with other cats and has a non aggressive nature. She would be happier in a quiet home with no children where she could find love and patience with someone who know's the value of a love well earned.

If you are this person and are willing to work with this scared girl and give her the gift of trust and a safe loving home, please contact us to meet Margie.
