Marcia - Super Affectionate's Story
Marcia is very, very social - loves people of all kinds and really enjoys being held. She had a bit of a rough time, having been diagnosed with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) a few months ago. This disease, which is thought not to be transmitted cat-to-cat, and was once considered untreatable and fatal, finally has treatment options.

She went through a 90-day treatment, and the veterinarian has declared that she is cured! The studies behind this treatment are only about 4 years along (in this country), so no one knows if there will be any long-term effects. Life is uncertain! But she appears to be healthy, active, playful and is very loving.

She gets along with other kittens and friendly big cats. We sometimes call her 'squirrel girl' because of that big, fluffy tail!
__________________
We have lots of nice kittens and cats! So, through the end of the year, the shelter cats and kittens are half off their regular adoption fee – or two for one! On top of that, it is even a better time to double the fun, since there is an additional 20% off if you adopt two at the same time.
_________________
When adopted, all of our cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Their vaccinations are current, they have been treated for fleas and worms, they are ID microchipped, and they have had a wellness check by our veterinarian.

We offer a 20% discount if you decide you would like to double the fun and adopt two cats or kittens!

Our adoption process is usually by appointment only, but we are open to drop ins on Saturdays. If Saturdays don’t work for you, let us know! We are happy to arrange an appointment on other days of the week, or in the evening, if it will help you connect with your next best furry friend. If you are considering adopting, PLEASE COMPLETE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION PRIOR TO MAKING AN APPOINTMENT. This will help to make the process easier and faster.

If you are not sure of which cat or kitten you might want to select, just indicate 'adult cat' or 'kitten', or ‘undecided’. To access our Adoption Form visit: https://www.northbeachpaws.org/copy-of-available-cats.
Please contact our adoption coordinator at 360-660-4658 or via email at nbpawscats@gmail.com if you have questions about the process, or one of our cats or kittens.
