Marceline

Meet Marceline, our very own Cat Vampire Queen!
Marceline was surrendered as a stray on July 17th after someone noticed her ears were in rough shape. She had severe dermatitis that made it look like something had taken a few bites out of her poor little ears. And, in a way, they were right! We discovered that Marceline most likely has a severe allergy to mosquitoes. Unfortunately for this Florida girl, mosquitoes are basically impossible to escape from unless you live the strictly indoor lifestyle.
Thankfully, indoor life looks very good on Marceline! Since coming inside, her ears have completely healed, her coat has become soft and glossy, and she’s put on some much-needed weight. We also made sure she was vaccinated and spayed, so this queen is officially ready to rule her kingdom!
Marceline’s favorite place in the entire lobby is her cozy little bed, where she can lounge like royalty and carefully survey her domain. She keeps a watchful eye on everything happening around her, always on the lookout for any potential threats to her peace and quiet. And if you think she’s going to keep her opinions to herself, think again! Marceline is very vocal and will happily chat with you throughout the day. She has plenty to say, and she wants to make sure you hear it.
But don’t let her sophisticated lounging fool you—this queen has a wild side! The moment she spots her beloved stuffed chili pepper toy, her inner huntress awakens. Suddenly, the regal lady of leisure becomes a fierce little predator, ready to pounce, wrestle, and conquer her favorite prey.
Marceline is equal parts elegant queen, professional chatterbox, cozy-bed connoisseur, and fierce little huntress. She may have traded the Florida mosquitoes for an indoor throne, but honestly, we think she’s much happier ruling from the comfort of her cozy bed.

Name: Marceline
Gender: Female/Spayed
Birthday: 10/13/25
Current Location: Southwood Animal Hospital
Minimum Adoption Donation: $100
