Mara

Meet Mara!<br/>This sweet girl originally came to us as a kitten and has unfortunately found herself back in our care August 2026 due to her owner being unable to care for her. Mara is a very shy kitty but she has so much love to spare as soon as she realizes you're a friend! She loves having her head and cheeks rubbed, enjoys snuggling into cozy beds and laps, and is always down for a snack too. Mara isn't fond of loud noises, so she isn't doing the best in a shelter environment and hides often. Despite that, if you reach in to pet her she will immediately lean into your touch to show you how loving she is!<br/>Mara is good with other cats but does need a slow introduction with them because of how overwhelmed she gets. We have not seen her with dogs but think she would be quite scared of them. She is great with kids who are calm and gentle with her.<br/><br/>Mara is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
