Mara's Story
Mara is a pretty calico kitty who was part of BIG group of orphaned kittens - nearly 20 total!! - that transferred into the Goathouse from a fellow rescue in Wilson, NC. Sadly, many of the kittens in this group fell ill with panleukopenia and didn't make it, but Mara was one of the lucky survivors. Mara can be a little shy around new people, which is likely why she's been overlooked by potential adopters. She would love nothing more than to find a quiet home with a cat-savvy caretaker willing to give her ample time to bloom at her own pace. We just know the right family is out there for sweet Mara!

Approx. DOB: 6/6/2021
