Hi, my name is Maple, and I’ve been waiting for the day I could tell my story. <br/><br/>I’m a two-year-old girl who came to the shelter carrying more than just myself — I carried five tiny lives. I gave birth there, and from the very first moment, I poured my whole heart into being their mama. I nursed them, cleaned them, comforted them, and watched them grow strong enough to find families of their own. I was calm through it all, gentle and patient, because that’s just who I am.<br/><br/>Now my babies are finding their happy endings… and it’s finally my turn.<br/><br/>I’m an easygoing soul. I don’t hiss, I don’t fuss — I’m happy to be picked up and carried around like the precious girl I am. I’m calm, affectionate, and I love cuddles. If you sit down, I’ll be right there asking for pets and scratches, soaking up every bit of love you’re willing to give. Being close to my people makes me feel safe.<br/><br/>I’m fully up to date on everything and living in foster care now. My foster mama says I seem like I want to be friends with her cat — I’m gentle and curious, never pushy. I haven’t met dogs yet, so we’re still learning about that together.<br/><br/>When I went to meet the families adopting my kittens, I was so brave. I stayed calm, let new people greet me, and quietly watched my babies charm their future humans. I’m curious about the world, and I love to explore new spaces at my own peaceful pace.<br/><br/>I’ve been a mother, a nurturer, a comforter.
