Maple's Story

DOB: 10/1/2025
Adoption Fee: $300

Maple had a tough start in life. She was separated from her mom and littermates too early, raised alone, and didn’t receive the care every kitten deserves. Eventually, she was cast outside to fend for herself. Because of this, Maple has a complex little personality that reflects both her resilience and her vulnerability.

She can be delightfully sassy—especially when she knows what she wants—and may chitter when she feels unsure or afraid. But beneath that brave exterior is a tender soul. When she feels safe, Maple melts into affection, tucking her head into the crook of your arm, gently suckling your sleeve while kneading like she’s trying to recreate the comfort she missed as a baby.

All of that said, Maple is thriving in foster care! With the help of an older kitten companion, she’s learning how to play, explore, and just be a kitten. She has tons of energy, loves toys, and is blossoming into a truly loving companion. With a little patience, understanding, and love, she will reward you with the sweetest snuggles and a bond that’s incredibly special. Maple just needs the right person to give her the safe, loving forever home she’s been waiting for.

Maple has done well with the cats she has met in her foster home. She has not yet met any dogs. I think she would do fine in a home with dogs with slow introductions. Kittens do best with a buddy – Camp Kitten requires young cats to be adopted in pairs if there isn’t already a young cat or kitten in the home. We are certain Maple needs a young feline to help her continue to build confidence and learn to play.

Maple is spayed, vaccinated (rabies and distemper), tested negative for intestinal parasites, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped. She is being fostered in EDINA. If interested in meeting her, please complete an adoption application on campkitten.com .
