Meet Maple, the sweetest tortie you will ever meet. You probably noticed her ears that are deformed. Unfortunately we don’t know much about Maple’s backstory, but her ears tell us that she had been living with chronic ear mites that had never been treated before- if they had been treated before, they certainly didn’t go away. When cats are left without care for ear mites, constant scratching and shaking their head makes their ears fill with blood causing a hematoma. If left untreated, the blood eventually leaves the ears and scar, causing what looks to be cauliflower ear. <br/><br/>Maple is the sweetest girl and loves everyone she meets. She walked up to a strangers house during the snowstorm this year, where she was brought into a warm home until they could find a rescue to take her in. The Good Samaritan that had found her had a dog that Maple didn’t care about. She is way more interested in receiving any kindness that she can get. She wants to be loved and loved on. She only has eyes for you. She doesn’t care who she lives with as long as they have a warm lap and they can pet her. She is quite possibly the sweetest cat you’ve ever encountered. <br/><br/>Maple is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and has a monthly flea prevention on in shelter.
