Maple's Story

This sassy 7 1/2 year old bobtail needs a "very special" home. She has a quirky personality. Although she is exceptionally friendly & affectionate, she knows what she likes & what she doesn't like. One too many strokes down her back, and she may swat your hand. We have learned that head scratches work best for her. We accept Maple for the cat she is; we find her quirky personality endearing. She is always the first one to meet you at the door with a meow. She will lie with you on the couch.<br/><br/>We are perfectly happy for her to live out her golden years at D.A.R.E., but we believe she would be much happier in a home with no other cats. For that reason, we are willing to adopt her out if we find just the right home.
