Manny & Moe (bonded brothers)

Manny & Moe
Manny-tiger tabby
Moe-tabby with white
Bonded brothers •
DOB 5/26
Adoption fee for the pair $450

Manny and Moe, along with their brother Jack, have already been through something no kitten should ever experience. The three boys were dumped behind a grocery store in an alley, and someone actually witnessed them being taken out of their carriers and left behind. Sadly, no one was able to get a license plate number or capture video, so the people responsible simply drove away and left these three little boys to fend for themselves.

Thankfully, they were rescued and are now safe, loved and waiting for families who will give them the happy ending they deserve.

Manny and Moe are bonded brothers with very different personalities, but they complement each other beautifully. Both are incredibly sweet and gentle, and both will happily make you their best friend—especially if belly rubs are involved!

Manny is the quieter, more cautious brother. He feels safest in a peaceful environment and takes a little time to warm up, but once he feels comfortable, you’ll see more and more of his sweet personality emerge. He has been coming out of his room a little farther each day to explore and gain confidence. Manny was born with a shorter tail with a little crook in it, which only makes him more unique and adorable.

Moe, affectionately known as Mr. Moe, is the adventurous one. He has plenty of energy, especially first thing in the morning and again in the evening when it’s time for his bedtime zoomies. He loves to climb, so a tall cat tree would be right up his alley. Watching Moe and his brother chase each other, bounce around and occasionally launch themselves into the air for absolutely no reason is guaranteed entertainment!

Moe is also quite the conversationalist. He has plenty to say and will happily tell you all about it, especially when he wants to be held or when he thinks it’s time for someone to open the bedroom door so he can race down the hallway. He loves to groom his people and may give little affectionate love nips—not bites—so a home with older, cat-savvy children would probably be the best fit. And if you’re looking for a professional biscuit maker, Moe has that job mastered!

Both boys are litter-box trained, keep their surroundings clean and are excellent eaters. They enjoy Indoor Purina One dry food throughout the day and absolutely love their serving of wet food in the evening before bed.

These two boys have already experienced the worst of people. Now they’re ready to experience the best—patience, love, safety and a family who will never abandon them.

The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.

All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.

We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
