Manhattan (bonded with Mojito)'s Story

**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

***Manhattan must have his brother Mojito with him when they journey to their new jungle pad! Then watch them explore and make your space their own! These mini house panthers’ curious and mischievous exploits will keep you smiling all day long!

Manhattan is a sleek little explorer with a shiny black coat, amber eyes, and just a hint of flair — check out those adorable white patches on his chest and belly! Don’t let his polished look fool you, though — this guy is all about fun!

One of a litter of three, Manhattan is playful, curious, and always ready to chase a wand toy, wrestle with his brother, or pounce on invisible prey. He has energy to spare and can go for long stretches of play, so plenty of enrichments such as jungle gyms, high perches and intriguing toys would be appreciated by this inquisitive mini panther. He’s a confident and outgoing kitten who also has a soft, affectionate side — he’ll happily climb into your lap when it’s time to recharge, and welcomes soft pets and cheek scritches with rumbling purrs.

Although quite curious, outgoing and confident, Manhattan’s tummy can signal stress when he is impacted by changes. These transient GI upsets are quickly resolved with appropriate food and a calm, regular routine. When he is a happy boy, everything is solid!!

Manhattan is acquainted with mature, seemingly aloof cats and well-mannered, friendly dogs. He takes the occasional hissing from the outwardly cool older cat in stride, and manages to charm her with his affectionate overtures. If you are open to making friends — no matter which species — Manhattan is eager to accept!

Looking for a kitten who’s handsome, playful, and full of love? Manhattan just might be your perfect match! Manhattan would do great in a home with brother Mojito, his equally fun-loving littermate. Together, they make an irresistible team of snuggles and shenanigans, so be prepared for a lot of entertaining antics and purry cuddles!

Would you like to enjoy Manhattan and Mojito every day? Please complete our online application found at: avacats.org/adopt/adoption-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it’s twice the fun for you, and half the work!
