Mango's Story

Mango and his siblings are 4 month old kittens rescued from a Bronx backyard. They had upper respiratory infections and needed medical attention, and their feeder was moving to another area imminently, so we were called in to scoop them up!

His eyes are scarred likely due to a common viral infection most outdoor cats are exposed to. An eye specialist says his prognosis is good though! His eyes won't get any better or worse, and we can expect him to continue thriving with standard care.

He is such a cuddly mama's boy, oh my goodness, clad in fluffy orange-striped onsie pjs. He sounds like a baby when he meows and he wants to wake up and play with mama! And eat! He probably doesn't have 100% vision, but that doesn't stop him from galloping around chasing others without any caution and he can follow toys with his eyes as we wave them in the air. He is also very vocal and uninhibited, truly the life of the party. Would you like a big orange baby to join your family?

Mango is neutered, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and vaccinated!
