Mandy's Story

Mandy was brought into our local Animal Services with two of her kittens that she just gave birth to. Several hours later two more of her kittens were reunited with her, but sadly, one did not make it. She was placed in a loving foster where she was a great mother to her three kittens (all have been adopted) and now it is her turn.

Are you searching for a gentle, affectionate companion to add warmth and happiness to your home? Look no further! Our beautiful momma Mandy is now ready to find her very own forever family after raising her kittens with love and patience. Mandy would do best in a quiet home with another animal as a companion or where her humans are around a lot.

Mandy will require a patient and understanding forever family, to allow her time to get used to her new environment and new humans. She trusts her Foster Mom; in the morning she meows with excitement (maybe more asking where have you been all night?) and purrs up a storm while getting brushed and pets. Mandy's favourite toy is s soft plush ball, she walks around carrying it, meowing with pride over her successful “hunt”. When Foster Mom is laying on the couch, Mandy will jump up and snuggle and purr with contentment. With patience and understanding I’m certain she will do the same with her forever family – she will just need time to trust.

Mandy is approximately 4 years old — the perfect blend of playful energy and mature calmness. She has been thoroughly checked by our veterinarian, is fully vaccinated, and has been spayed to ensure her continued well-being.

This special girl has already proven her loving nature, caring for her kittens and showing endless patience and affection. Now, it’s her turn to be pampered and cherished! Adopting an adult cat means welcoming a pet whose personality is already known, so you can be sure she’s the right fit for your home.

If you’re ready to open your heart and quiet home to a loyal, loving companion, contact us to schedule a meet-and-greet or learn more about our adoption process. Let’s help sweet Mandy find the loving family she so truly deserves.

Contact us info@werescuecats.ca
