Mandy's Story

Mandy was surrendered to our center with 4 other cats. The person who the 5 cats belonged to said that they originally had 20 cats, and these were the last ones remaining that they could not find a home for. Mandy was surrendered while pregnant! She came in during the very late stages and recently had her litter in center. She is a very good mom to them, but she is now ready for her happily ever after in a home. She is a very loving girl, but she needs some nurturing for herself!

Our Mission

Famous Fido works with overcrowded Chicago-area shelters to rescue adoptable dogs and cats that are at high risk of euthanasia, and to find them loving homes.
