Mandy's Story
This lovely girl is one of the nicest cats you'll ever meet. She not only loves her people, but is social with visitors as well. She was surrendered by her owner after she let her outside and she got hit by a car, and she could no longer afford her care.

While Mandy just turned 9 years old, don't be fooled - she acts half her age. During the day she plays with her toys, and has no trouble jumping on the kitchen counter to play in the sink - yeah, we're working on that. She spends most of the day looking out the window and watching all the critters run around, but from the safety of her cat tree. At night she enjoys sitting with her person on the sofa watching TV or being gently brushed. Watch your hands - she loves to give lots of those sandpaper tongue kisses!

She is showing early signs of mild kidney disease, but it's easily managed by feeding her a high quality canned food-only diet. Her bloodwork showed significant improvement from when she was first surrendered, so one of our consulting vets believes that good nutrition will keep her stable for some time to come. In her original home she did live with a large number of cats but she was not a big fan of interacting with them. She does okay with one of the cats in her foster home, so she probably could live with another cat after a slow and careful introduction. However, Mandy is not one to cuddle with another cat, she prefers to save that for her humans, and loved sleeping on the bed next to her original mom..

Mandy is fully vetted and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225 and she is being fostered in Worcester.

If you are interested in adopting Mandy, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser:

https://bit.ly/3yRGpMD
